Blum, Olga H. MADISON Olga H. Blum, age 101, died unexpectedly on the evening of Sunday, March 9, 1997. Funeral arrangements are pending. A more complete obituary will follow later this week.

Cady, Ervin "Pat" Ervin "Pat" Cady, age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 1997, at the Skaalen Nursing Home where he had resided since 1988. He was born on June 27, 1903, in Birnamwood, Wisconsin. He was employed as a railway mail clerk and worked for the United States Postal Service for 40 years. Pat was a member of the Lake Edge United Church of Christ and the Zor Shrine. He is survived by his son, Arthur (Dianne) Cady; a Margaret Cady; eight grandchildren, Shannon (Ary) Rivera, Ryan (Tracie Nelson) Cady, Molly Cady, Shaun Cady, Patrick Cady, Caitlin Cady, Kathy (Tim) Kygen of Alexandria, Virginia and Debbie Cady Texas; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Mae, 1989; his son, Dean; and his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, 400 N. Morris, Stoughton, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 1997. Reverend David Michael and Reverend James Koza will preside.

Caruso, age 75, of Madison, died on Sunday, March 9, 1997, at a local hospital. He was born on August 4. 1921, in Madison, the son of Anthony and Rosalia (Manino) Caruso. He graduated from Madison West. High School.

Jim married Doris Howery Madison, on May 22, 1946. He worked for Research Products Corporation as shipping supervisor, retiring after 43 years with the firm. He was a member of Bashford United Methodist Church; he was also a member of the Italian Workmen's Club, and Madison Elks Jim is survived by his wife, Doris; a brother, Salvatore "Sam" Caruso of California; and a sister, Galesia "Daisy" Caruso of Madison; sister-in-law, Rachel Caruso of Madison; his mother-in-law, Loey Howery, also of Madison; many nieces and nephews; and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Caruso; and a sister, Mary Caruso. Funeral services will be held at BASHFORD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 329 North Street, at 11:00 a.m.

She is survived by her husband, Leral, of Fall River; two daughters, Judith Schaefer of Waterloo and Patricia (James) Richardson of Oregon; a son, Donald (Beatrice) of Columbus; six grandchildren; a sister, Clara Abegglen of Columbus; a brother, Wilbur (Elaine) Schilling of Columbus; a sister-in-law, Margaret Schilling of Fall River; and a special family member, Robert (Toni) Winter of Dousam. Edge, Kenneth H. MADISON Kenneth H. Edge, age 81, died on Sunday, March 9, 1997, at his residence after a long illness. He was born on September 2, 1915, in Fennimore, the son of George and Theresa Edge. He married the former Neva Thomas in South Carolina.

Kenneth was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army in the South Pacific. He was a truck driver for over 45 years retiring from The Lumberman's Supply Company. He was also a member of Moose Lodge and a member of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association which he enjoyed for many years and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Neva, of Madison; two sons, David (Georgia) Edge of Middleton and Kenneth Jr. (Sue) Edge of Madison; a sister, Gladys Schluter of Madison; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

grange, age 95, of Mineral Point, died on Saturday, March 8, 1997, at the Mineral Point Care Center. She was born in Waldwick Township, Wisconsin, on November 10, 1901, daughter of Christopher and Lily (Heath) Whitford. She was raised and educated in the Waldwick area, and married Leo C. Grange on December 21, 1921. Together they, farmed in Mineral Point Township until they retired and moved to Mineral Point in 1955.

She was a long time member of the United Church of Christ, and the Church Women's Fellowship in Mineral Point, and a past member of the Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by a daughter, Hazel (Tom) Korn of Rockford, Illinois; a son, Delmer Grange of Mineral Point, seven grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ellen Grange Harris of Mineral Point; also nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1956; a brother, Clifford Whitford; a sister, Lela Moughton; and a daughter-inlaw, Madge Grange in 1992. until time of service on Thursday at the Mineral Point Care Center Chapel. Holte, Mark H. MADISON Mark H. Holte, age 34, of Madison, died March 9, 1997, in Rochester, Minnesota. Mark Harlan Holte was born on July 22, 1962, in Moorhead, Minnesota, to Harlan and Darlene.

He attended school in Moorhead graduating from Moorhead Senior High in 1980. Mark attended the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire and graduated with a degree in law enforcement in 1984. He served as a police officer for the City of Eau Claire from 1985 to 1993. He attended law school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and graduated in May, 1993. While attending school, he also served as a police officer for the City of Verona.

In 1996, he began working as a Labor Relations Consultant for the Wisconsin Professional Police Association and was employed there until his death. Mark is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Teri and Jeff Sigurdson and a nephew, Ryan, all of Burnsville, Minnesota; his friend, Sara Buvala of Eau Claire; aunts, uncles; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH in Eau Claire on Wednesday, March 12, 1997, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Barbara Koch officiating.

Kessenich, age 77, of Madison, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 9, 1997, at his home. He was born on July 3, 1919 in Waunakee and has been a life long Madison area resident. He was a supervisor maintenance at Central Wisconsin Center for many years until his retirement. Prior to that he worked carpentry. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S.

Marines. He was a member of the VFW 8483, American Legion 360 and St. Peter's Catholic Church. He married the former Marjorie Vinyard on September 1, 1943 at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Westport.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Ronald (Maxine) Kessenich of LaCrosse, Anne Schmelzer of Madison and John Kessenich of Madison; six brothers and sisters, Arthur (Dora) Kessenich of Milwaukee, Lorraine French of Waunakee, Robert (Lillis) Kessenich of Madison, Joseph (Donna) Kessenich of Union Grove, Wisconsin, Betty (John) Mulhorn of Madison and John (Kathy) Kessenich Schullsburg, Iowa; two grandchildren, Michelle (Sam) Dennis and Travis Rugg; two great grandchildren, Tyler Codi; and and nephews. until time of service. Raymond, Agnes O. MADISON- Agnes O. Raymond, age 94, formerly of 3734 Hammersley Avenue, died on Saturday, March 8, 1997, at Manor Care Health Service. She was born on February 26, 1903, in Bear Valley, Wisconsin.

The former Agnes Kaul and was married to Louis Raymond on December 24, 1927, in Madison. Louis preceded her in death in December of 1965. She had been a Madison resident for 80 years and graduated from Edgwood Academy. Agnes was a secretary for many years for WIBA radio station in Madison. She was a member of Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Theodore (Patricia) of Little Chute; a daughter-in-law, Marie of Racine; grandchildren, Toni Louise Raymond, Laura Busch, Anthony (Jennifer) Raymond, Timothy Raymond, Dean Raymond, Therese (Mark) Quinn, Louis Raymond, Michelle (Peter) Cooper, and eight great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Marie Munz; and sisters-inlaw, Anita Kaul and Helen Kaul; several nieces and nephews. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a life time member of the Wisconsin Alumni Association. He earned his advanced degrees in Government Management from the University of Denver and was awarded a Sloan Foundation Fellowship. During World War II, John served as a naval officer in Europe and on the Pacific Ocean in Guam. Prior to his retirement, he was a highly respected speaker on government and taxation on behalf of the Wisconsin Taxpayers alliance. For several years he served on the Board Directors of the Wisconsin Heart Association.

He was a long time member of Blackhawk County Club and Queen of Peace Parish. MADISON Marilyn L. Balke, age 67, died suddenly on Monday, March 10, 1997 at a local hospital.

She was born on January 5, 1930 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the daughter of Carl and Erma Backhaus. She married Donald Balke on May 7, 1960 in Beaver Dam, he preceded her in death on December 23, 1994. After graduation from Beaver Dam High School in 1948, Marilyn moved to Madison to complete a year of secretarial skills at the Madison Vocational School (MATC). She remained in Madison and started her career at The Wisconsin State Board of Health in May of 1949. In February of 1953 she joined the Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin and remained there until her retirement in 1985.

During those 32 years she acquired many life-long friends and could talk endlessly of the many experiences with students, secretaries and professors, all in different walks of life. She also became a very good listener when needed. Because of health complications she retired from the Physics Dept. and State service. Marilyn and her husband, Don had a good 35 years of marriage.

They accomplished seeing the Montreal Olympics, two World Fairs and traveling to Europe three times. Marilyn's greatest hobby was crocheting, she was a charter member the Madison Packer Backers. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Madison where she volunteered every Wednesday in the church office. She enjoyed working with the people there and responsibility they gave her, she regretted that she was unable to devote more time to her duties at the church.

Balke, Marilyn L. Sunday, March 9, 1997, at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. He was born on April 29, 1908, in Madison to the late Lelah (Frederickson) and Dr. Eduardo M.

Bazan. Ed lived in Argentina until age 10, returning with his family to Madison following the death of his father and had been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from East High School and was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in New Guinea and Philippines. He married the former Dorothy Lohff on April 17, 1948, and she preceded him in death on September 5, 1996. Prior to entering the service, he was employed by Commonwealth Telephone and upon returning, was employed by Sears as warehouse manager, or, retiring after 23 years of service.

BELLEVILLE Mrs. Marcia U. (Little) Ross-Hosely, age 91, of Belleville, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 1997, at the New Glarus Home, New Glarus, Wisconsin. She was born on October 21, 1905, in Paoli, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles, and Lydia (Schaller) Little. attended the Schaller School and Paoli Elementary.

On November 15, 1924, she was united in marriage to Vernon L. Ross. He passed away on July 8, 1947. On October 28, 1949, she married Herman B. Hosely.

He preceded her in death on April 28, 1972. Marcia worked as an operator for the Belleville Telephone Company, Roomed Teachers, Belleville Hardware, Hosely's Mobil Station, Duve-Macknick Plumbing and Heating Company, Lehnherr's Grocery and Dry Goods and cooked for the Belleville Senior Citizens program. She was a member of the St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Belleville, the Royal Neighbors, Past President of the Women's Relief Corp, Past President of Catholic Women's Club, Charter member of the Belleville Senior Citizens. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia A.

LIVINGSTON E. Sinaiko, age 47, Livingston, died on Sunday evening, March 9, 1997, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. He was born on July 8, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Donald and Edith (Gerhardt) Sinaiko. He was married to Jane L. Schroeder on January 1, 1975.

John received his Master's degree in Psychology and Counseling at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, and he worked for Unified Counseling. He is survived by his wife, Jane L. Schroeder of Livingston; two children, Heather (Benodin) Les of Chicago, and Glen Sinaiko of Corona, California; his father, Donald Sinaiko of Madison, Wisconsin and North Palm Beach, Florida; and sister, Sherry Brumder of Stinson Beach, California. Dorothy M. Tesch, age 76 of rural Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 1997 at her home. She was born September 17, 1920 in Wausau, Wisconsin, the daughter of Leonard G. and Emma Shavey Wood. Dorothy was united in marriage to Raymond C.

Tesch on July 2, 1938 in Wausau, Wisconsin. The couple moved to New Glarus in 1967 from Chicago. She then moved to rural Stoughton in 1972. Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Lee of New Glarus; three sons, Dale (Sherry) Tesch of Crystal Lake, Wisconsin, Robert (Lila) Tesch of Evansville, Wisconsin, and Donald Tesch of Stoughton; a brother, George L. (Ruth) Wood of Merrill, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Dorothy preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, August 29, 1971; a son, Leonard in 1970; a brother, Richard Dale in 1986; and her parents. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, 12, services, 1997, at 1:30 p.m. at the SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LUTHERAN CHURCH, New Glarus, Wisconsin. The Rev. Ronald Nybroten is officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus.

Relatives and friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, March 1, 1997, at the ZENTNER-BEAL FUNERAL HOME, New Glarus. The family suggest memorials to the Edgerton Home Care Services. Quality Service We work hand in hand The finest names in classic and traditonal menswear.
